The press service of the National Bank of Kazakhstan didn't confirm information about Kairat Kelimbetov's resignation from the post of the chairman of National Bank.
"The National Bank of Kazakhstan is operating in normal mode. The chairman of the National Bank, Kairat Kelimbetov, is currently participating in a meeting of the Council for Economic Policy under the government of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Astana," KazTAG cited the press service as saying.
Previously there was no information in the mass media that Kelimbetov is leaving his post.
