Chechnya sends humanitarian aid to Syria

A Chechen plane with humanitarian aid for Syrian residents affected by earthquakes landed at Latakia airport.

It wa reported that there were 40 tons of food on board.

Earlier, the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, said that the Akhmat-Khadzhi Kadyrov Foundation would allocate funds for the purchase of housing for nine thousand families from Syria.

Let us remind you that the Chechen authorities sent humanitarian aid to the victims of the earthquake in February immediately. It included tents, warm clothes and essentials.

The republic also provided financial assistance to the inhabitants of Syria who were left homeless.
