Relations between Russia and Saudi Arabia have entered a period of renaissance, the head of 'Rostec', Sergey Chemezov, said on the sidelines of the international aerospace Dubai Airshow-2015.
"Our relations with this country have entered a period of renaissance. I hope that these negotiations will produce contracts," TASS cited him as saying.
Chemezov said that negotiations are in progress over contracts for providing air defense systems, but there have been no talks over the tactical missile system Iskander.
The head of 'Rostec' reminded that several defense product contracts worth $20 billion were signed with Saudi Arabia, which weren't implemented for various political reasons. "These days military-technical cooperation with this country is on the rise again," Chemezov concluded.
