Cherchesov to be assigned other managerial posts

The newly appointed head coach of the Russian national football team, Stanislav Cherchesov, will be also occupying several other supervisory posts with the Russian Football Union (RFU), Russian Sports Minister Vitaly Mutko said.

"The team’s head coach should be the one to supervise the development of nationwide football and its institutions. Cherchesov will also chair the Coaching Council and the Technical Committee," TASS cited Mutko as saying.

The new coach will oversee country’s football development, the minister added.
