Chinese and North Korean authorities have decided to develop stable rail transportation. This was announced by the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China, Wang Wenbin at a briefing on September 26.
"We intend to continue to strengthen bilateral cooperation, actively contribute to ensuring the safe and stable transportation of goods between the two countries by rail", TASS quotes him.
The diplomat also confirmed the resumption of railway communication between China and the DPRK after almost a six-month pause due to COVID-19.
According to him, the intensification of the railway communication will strengthen the friendship between Beijing and Pyongyang.
