China opens to Russian wheat, rice, maize, soybean and rapeseed

Russia will now be able to supply wheat, rice, corn, soybeans and rapeseed to China. The head of Rosselkhoznadzor, Sergey Dankvert, signed today a phytosanitary protocol, which opened the Chinese market for these Russian products.

"In particular,  the subject of supplies is the grain of spring wheat grown on the territory of the Altai and Krasnoyarsk Territories, and the Novosibirsk and Omsk Regions, and which is intended solely for processing. As well as corn, rice, soybeans, rapeseed grown in the Khabarovsk, Primorsky and Trans-Baikal Territories, the Amur Region and the Jewish Autonomous Region which are intended only for processing," TASS cites the press service of Rosselkhoznadzor.
