China reduces currency reserves to low of 2011

China's currency reserves have fallen to a five-year low. The country's Currency Reserve Fund reached the level of 3.2 trillion, which is the worst figure since December 2011.

According to the Central Bank, China's currency reserves decreased by 99.5 billion dollars in January 2016. Experts note that the currency fund has been falling for four months in a row. It is assumed that the Central Bank of China, while getting rid of the US currency, is trying to ease the pressure on the yuan, in order to avoid an increase in capital outflow,gazeta.ru reports.
