The Turkish third nuclear energy plant will likely built in Thrace, Turkish Energy and Natural Resources Minister Berat Albayrak said.
The minister noted that the choice of station location was due to high energy consumption and small production volume in this segment. CNN Turk TV channel reported.
The first nuclear power plant in Turkey is being built jointly with Russia in Mersin, the second - in Silop.
