It is planned to involve more than 120 Cossacks this year for the protection of state borders, together with the Federal Security Service border department of Russia in Krasnodar Territory, the press service of the Russian border department of the FSB in the region reports.
"Assistance provided by the Cossacks in the tasks of border security contributes to the continuous monitoring of the development of the situation on the state border, as well as improves the efficiency of border operations," UGA cites the service.
