According to executive director of the Interstate Aviation Committee, Viktor Sorochenko, one important fact has been determined in the crash of the Russian aircraft in the Sinai Peninsula in Egypt, in which died 224 people: the plane fell to pieces in the air.
"The destruction was in the air, and its fragments are scattered over a large area (about 20 sq km)," Tass cites Sorochenko.
