In Georgia, the number of crimes in January-March 2020 decreased by 10% compared to the same period in 2019, the country's Interior Ministry informs.
The department clarified that the reduction happened due to the introduction of prohibitions and restrictions amid the coronavirus pandemics.
In particular, on January 1- March 31, about 16,000 crimes were registered in the country comparing to 17,800 last year, Sputnik-Georgia informs.
