Crimea offered to return direct transport links with Turkey

Ervin Musayev, adviser to the head of Crimea on interethnic issues, proposed to Turkey to restore ferry and air traffic.

At the moment, the Crimean delegation, which includes representatives of public and cultural organizations, scientists and journalists, is visiting Turkey. Today Ankara hosted a forum of cultural and humanitarian ties between Crimean Tatar organizations of the peninsula and Turkish compatriots.

Musayev reminded that for many years Crimea and Turkey had been linked by ferry and air service, this helped to develop cultural, ethnic and economic ties.

"In this regard, we raised the issue of reviving this interaction, which will be beneficial to both sides," RIA Novosti quotes the adviser to the head of Crimea.

He drew attention to the fact that the issue of restoring direct transport links should be returned to the agenda of discussions and negotiations.
