Crimean speculators raise prices for candles and batteries

Prices for some products have increased by 40% in Crimea in terms of the blackout, the head of the region Sergey Aksenov said today.

"Have a heart! I discussed this issue with the tax service... In some cases the margin was more than 40%,'' the head of Crimea said at today's evening session of the interdepartmental staff for emergencies after the head of the administration of Yevpatoriya Andrey Filonov informed that some entrepreneurs "increased prices for batteries, Interfax reports.
