The former head of Izberbash, Abdulmedzhid Suleymanov, became the defendant in the criminal case, senior assistant to the head of the Russian Investigative Committee for Dagestan Rasul Temirbekov said.
"He is suspected of committing a crime under part 2 of Article 286 ”Excess of official powers by the head of the local government” of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation," RIA Dagestan quotes him as saying.
As the investigation found out, in mid-November 2017, the suspect, having exceeded the powers assigned to him, signed a decree and an agreement on the transfer of the municipal apartment to a local resident.
