Russia's Investigative Committee has started a criminal investigation into the collision of the Turkish cargo ship Lira with a temporary support of the bridge in the Kerch Strait.
"Now the vessel is detained in the port of Taganrog. The Investigative Committee has opened a criminal investigation due to the collision. In addition, the case on the legality of actions of the vessel will be examined by the Arbitration Court,’’ RIA Novosti cites its source in the law enforcement bodies.
