Chargé d'Affaires of Croatia in Azerbaijan Refik Sabanovic was received by head of the State Protocol Department of Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry Ambassador Parvin Mirzazade today.
Sabanovic presented a note from Croatia’s Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs to Parvin Mirzazade with the news of the establishment of the Baku-headquartered Embassy of Croatia in Azerbaijan, APA reported.
Ambassador Parvin Mirzazade said that the opening of the Croatian embassy will give impetus to the further expansion and promotion of cooperation and friendship between the two countries.
Until now, Croatia's accredited embassy in Azerbaijan has been operating in a temporary office on a non-resident basis.
