The Celestial Crystal cruise liner has collided with the STI Pimlico product tanker in the northern part of the Dardanelles Strait near the Turkish peninsula of Gallipoli.
The cruise liner with 853 passengers and 382 crew members on board was sailing from the Greek island of Mykonos to Istanbul.
The laden tanker was sailing from the Russian city of Tuapse towards Malta. The Maritime Bulletin reported about the injured on board, according to RIA Novosti.
