Several banks in the Cuban capital city of Havana started accepting Mir payment system cards.
ATMs now display the logo of the Russian payment system and provide an option to withdraw funds from cards, issued by Russian banks, RIA Novosti reported.
The money is provided in Cuban pesos. The approximate ruble to Cuban peso exchange rate is about 1 to 1.5, not counting operation fee.
