The Cup of Caspian-2015 has ended at the International Military Games, which have been held recently, with the crew of the small rocket ship Grad Sviyazhsk of the Caspian Fleet of the Russian Navy winnimg it.
This is the first year, when competitions of the naval and field training Cup of Caspian-2015 and Caspian Derby-2015 have been held during the Games.
"Based on the results of the international competition the Cup of Caspian-2015, the small rocket ship Grad Sviyazhsk of the Caspian Fleet of the Russian Navy came first. In second place was the missile-artillery ship Saryarka of the Kazakhstan Navy. Third place was won by the patrol-security ship G -124 of the Azerbaijani Navy," the representative of the press service and information management of the Russian Defense Ministry for the Navy Igor Dygalo reported.
During the first stage, the ships worked out competition tasks with the performance of artillery firing at sea targets, firing at air targets and firing at a floating mine. During the second stage of the competition, teams from Russia, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan competed in the performance of complex regulations on naval training – movement of ships to the area of anchorage, anchoring, unanchoring, receiving and transmitting signals using flags of colorization and others, TASS reports.
