Schools of the North Caucasus Federal District are ready for September 1st (the Day of Knowledge). Today we publish the information about achievements and challenges faced by representatives of Dagestan’s Ministry of Education.
Three-shift training has been one of the biggest problems in the sphere of education in the North Caucasus for a long time and it still remains relevant for a number of schools in the region. However, it worth noting that Dagestan has succeeded in dealing with the problem.
The problem is solved with the help of new schools. "The other day a new school was opened in the mountain village of Hidib in the Tlyaratinsky District. The opening ceremony was attended by the Head of Dagestan, Ramazan Abdullatipov, and deputy chairman of the State Duma, Sergey Neverov,’’ the press service of Dagestan’s Ministry of Education reported.
Another issue on the agenda in Dagestan is personnel. "The matter was discussed in August at the meeting personally by the head of the republic. It will be more difficult to enter the Dagestan State Pedagogical University due to new requirements (higher entry standards).
Special social support programs have been launched in Dagestan in order to parents could the necessary school kits at a lower price.
