State Duma deputy Umahan Umahanov, who is the main shareholder of the 'Podolsk Electromechanical Factory', which was visited by a delegation of Russian Ministry for the North Caucasus yesterday, stated that at the end of this year the Dagdizel factory in Kaspiysk plans to begin construction of new modernized ZU-23/30 M1-4 anti-aircraft systems.
Construction of these systems is currently underway at the 'PEMZ' factory, and now the enterprise is increasing its development and output of the product.
"Today, expansion of the branch of 'PEMZ' - 'PEMZ Spetsmash' is planned, and the opening of its representative office in Dagestan on the basis of the Dagdizel factory," YUGA cites the report of the ministry.
