In Dagestan, the representative of the Muftiate of the Republic, Shamil Alikhanov, appealed to local residents to wear masks in public places, not to visit crowded places, as the risks of coronavirus infection remain.
"The Muftiate of Dagestan continues to urge all residents of the region not to visit crowded places, including taziyats and weddings, and to wear a mask in the public places, observe social distance and wash their hands more often," Alikhanov said.
