The candidacy of Dair Kenekeyev, current governor of Talas region, for the Deputy Prime Minister was approved by the Kyrgyz Parliament today.
Kyrgyzstan's Deputy Prime Minister Duishenbek Zilaliyev introduced him to the Parliament and said that after the approval, Prime Minister Sapar Isakov will distribute responsibilities among his deputies.
Zilaliyev said that Kenekeyev is expected to be assigned responsible for real sector of economy, AKIpress reported.
Kenekeyev, 43, was nominated by PM Sapar Isakov for the post due to the death of Temir Dzhumakadyrov in road crash on October 7.
