Georgian energy workers will start to operate the largest in the history of independent Georgia Dariali HPP in December this year, the head of the building company ‘Feri’, Lasha Iordanishvili, said.
Technically, the HPP was put into operation in October, but it is currently running in the test mode.
"The total capacity of the plant is 110 MW, but due to the fact that currently the rivers are relatively shell, the hydroelectric power plant can not operate at full capacity, and now it produces only 40 MW. The maximum level of performance will be achieved in May and October, that is, already in 2017, Business-Georgia reports.
