Politician Dastan Sarygulov was detained and placed in the temporary detention facility of the State Committee for National Security as a suspect of a coup attempt, the SCNS of the country reported.
The decision was made within a criminal case over preparations for a coup attempt in connection with newly discovered evidence.
As it became known, during the investigation of corruption in the Kumtor project, the officers faced with considerable opposition and threat to the security of the involved in the case by the organizers of the corruption schemes, who are not interested in discovering and publicizing corruption schemes and their personal commercial interests in the Kumtor project.
The investigation did not rule out the version that attempts to destabilize the situation in the country are related to the active investigation of corruption schemes by the authorities of Kyrgyzstan in the Kumtor project.
