Prime Minister of Turkey Ahmet Davutoglu said on the eve of his visit to Baku that the two countries implement very important joint energy projects, thereby uniting Europe and Asia.
Among such projects he named the Trans-Anatolian gas pipeline (TANAP), which will increase Azerbaijani gas supplies to Turkey, the TRT Haber TV channel reports.
"Our relations with Azerbaijan in the energy sphere are developing from day to day," the prime minister said, adding that Ankara will continue to develop the relations with Azerbaijan and it is not related to the crisis in Ankara-Moscow relations.
The liberation of Azerbaijani lands occupied by Armenia is one of the important issues for us, Trend cited the Turkish Prime Minister as saying.
