Prime Minister of Turkey Ahmet Davutoglu and his wife Sarye have visited the construction site of the Eurasian tunnel that will be built under the Bosphorus.
They visited the European part of the tunnel located near Chatladykapy.
A briefing was held there for the head of the government, during which he was informed of the ongoing work. Then Ahmet Davutoglu gave a start to implementation of the latest drilling at a depth of 25m. The wife of the head of the government, Sare Davutoglu, the Minister of Transport, Shipping and Communications, Feridun Bilgin, the governor of Istanbul Vasip Shaheen, the former minister of transport, navigation and communication of Turkey, Elvan Lutfi, the mayor of Istanbul Kadir Topbas and other officials watched the progress of work along with the Prime Minister.
