Defense Minister Opens Russian Military Expo "Army 2020"

Russia's Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu on Sunday opened Russian military expo "Army 2020", Republic World reports.

The event will be divided into a military forum and an international military sports competition.

The forum will cover key topics such as IT for the Defence Industry, Military Medicine, and various branches of armed services.

The International Army Games will see teams from across the world complete in several dozens of events, among which is a tank biathlon.

The "Army 2020" expo forum closes on August 29th and the Games on September 5th.
