The deputies of the City Assembly of Derbent will elect a mayor today.
The head of the district City of Derbent Imam Yaraliev was dismissed in August. Earlier, a case was brought against him for abuse of office in connection with the manipulation of land in the city.
The selection of candidates took place in two stages. During the second stage, the Commission selected a few people who will be presented to the city assembly today.
