Starting from today, the amendments to the laws ‘On the National Bank of Georgia’ and ‘On Advertising’ have entered into force, according to which the entrepreneurs are obliged to indicate prices in the national currency - lari - in case of selling property, rendering services or advertising them on the territory of the country .
Prior to this, the prices, for example, of cars were listed in dollars, the calculation was also made in the foreign currency.
In case of violation of the law, there will be a warning for the first time, and then a fine of 1 thousand lari (more than $ 416), for a repeated fault it will be necessary to pay up to 5 thousand lari (more than $ 2 thousand).
