Double-deck trains to connect Adler and St. Petersburg

The Federal Passenger Company (FPC, RJD’s subsidiary) plans to launch a double-deck train on the route Saint Petersburg - Adler, which will circulate  every day by October 1st this year,  the deputy head of the North-West Branch of the company, Sergei Bushlyaev, said.

‘’On May 28th we  launch the first double-deck carriage on the route St. Petersburg - Adler, circulating once every four days. By the Railwayman’s  Day ( the first Sunday of August ) we are planning to launch the second carriage with the traffic schedule every second day, and by the autumn to make it a daily, bringing the number of the trains to four,’’ TASS quotes him as saying.
