Dvorkovich: China's economic slowdown won’t affect cooperation between Moscow and Beijing

Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich shared his vision with reporters about potential problems in Russian-Chinese relations, especially how a negative impact of the Chinese economy can influence Russia. He believes that the economic slowdown in China won’t affect Russia. Dvorkovich said that the trade turnover between the two countries will be restored in two or three years.

"If we don’t take into account the drop in energy prices and the devaluation of the ruble during the last few months, the volume of trade and investment are at a record level," he added.

According to statistics, trade turnover between Russia and China in the first half of the year decreased by 28% in comparison with 2014 year to $30.6 billion, Tass reports.
