Dvorkovich: Russia to increase grain production in ten years

Russia will increase the production of grain both by intensive and extensive means, the Russian Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich said at the World Grain Forum in Sochi.

"Now production is within 120 million tonnes, potential is up to 150 million tonnes, in the next ten years we may increase production using both intensive and extensive methods," Interfax cited the deputy prime minister as saying.

Among the growth factors, he named the improvement of technology, the improvement of agricultural land management, the increase of technological opportunities for Russian companies.
