The restoration of the relations between Russia and Turkey provides an opportunity for the development of the Southern Gas Corridor (SGC), the Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich said at a meeting with Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras, .
"If we talk about the large-scale projects, of course, it is primarily the energy sector. Greece expects to become one of the most important energy hubs for Europe, first of all it concerns gas. Yes, all these projects are intertwined with a variety of political reasons, that is why it is not that easy to implement them. Nevertheless, today we can say that the restoration of the cooperation with our Turkish partners provides an opportunity for the development of the Southern Gas Corridor.’’
