Researchers from the Environmental Working Group analyzed the effects on the body of the most common food chemicals and compounds and identified a significant negative effect from the use of tert-Butylhydroquinone, or E319.

It is used in the production of vegetable and animal fats, including fish oil, and is also added to dry semi-finished confectionery products, breakfast cereals, soup concentrates and sauces, MedicalXpress portal informs.
