Following the meeting on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly, Foreign Ministers of the EU countries, as well as the head of European diplomacy Federica Mogherini and the US Secretary of State John Kerry have urged all opposition groups in Syria to stop cooperation with Jabhat al-Nusra (banned in Russia).
The meeting was also attended by Foreign Minister of the UK, France, Germany and Italy, Boris Johnson, Jean-Marc Ayrault, Frank-Walter Steinmeier and Paolo Gentiloni.
"We reaffirm our common opinion that Jabhat al-Nusra - Al-Qaeda wing in Syria, is a terrorist organization and an enemy of the entire world," participants of the meeting said, RIA Novosti reported.
