The European Union does not rule out connecting Iran to the ‘Southern Gas Corridor’ project, the European Commissioner for Climate and Energy, Miguel Arias Cañete, said in an interview with Anadolu.
"We must work together to diversify the sources of gas to be supplied to the member states of the EU. We attach importance to the gas that will be supplied from Turkey, Azerbaijan and probably from Turkmenistan. As you know, we also buy gas from Russia," APA quotes Cañete as saying.
