The European Union welcomes the idea of holding the first official summit of the heads of state of Central Asia in Astana, the EU Special Representative for Central Asia, Ambassador Peter Burian, said at the international conference in Astana.
Burian stressed that the European Union welcomes such positive changes in the Central Asian region. "We believe that integration and cooperation are an important tool for overcoming such challenges," the EU Special Representative concluded.
