Four projects will be implemented in Azerbaijan under the Programmatic Cooperation Framework in 2015-2017, the head of the EU Delegation to Azerbaijan, Malena Mard, said.
The European Union and the Council of Europe will allocate 4.7 million euros, Sputnik Azerbaijan cited the head of the Council of Europe's Office in Azerbaijan, Dragana Filipovic, as saying.
The projects focus on strengthening human rights in Azerbaijan, capacities to fight and prevent corruption in administrative bodies, improving media freedom, as well as improving of judicial services.
The aim of the new phase of cooperation is to maintain a dialogue with the countries of the Eastern Partnership and ensure respect for universal values.
