People suffered from epidemics caused by the coronavirus tens of thousands of years ago, an international team of scientists came to conclusion, the Queensland University of Technology (QUT, Australia) writes in the journal Current Biology.
Researchers from QUT, the University of Arizona, the University of California at San Francisco and the University of Adelaide have found that a major coronavirus epidemic hit East Asians about 20,000 years ago.
