President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko called the economy the main problem of the republic.
"I have always said and I want to remind you once again that our main task, our main problem and concern is the economy. If there is an economy, then there will be everything else, if there is no economy, then we should not rely on either ideology, or security, or peace in the country,” he said during a meeting in Minsk, RIA Novosti reports.
