Egyptian President invites Ilham Aliyev to visit Cairo

President of Egypt Abdel Fattah el-Sisi has invited the Azerbaijani leader Ilham Aliyev to visit Egypt,  Egypt's Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Ashraf El-Shihy, said.

"Relations between Azerbaijan and Egypt rely on close friendship developing in the areas of trade and culture," he said.

It is expected that the sides will discuss various areas of cooperation, APA reports.
