The authorities of Dagestan announced the launch of electric trains between Kaspiysk and Makhachkala. The trains will improve the quality of passenger service, relieve congestion on roads, and reduce traffic jams in the Makhachkala-Caspian agglomeration.
It is planned to launch a train between Makhachkala and Kaspiysk. This innovation will not only improve the mobility of residents, but will also help relieve congestion on the road between these settlements.
“The Ministry of Transport [of the Republic of Dagestan], together with the administrations of Makhachkala and Kaspiysk, is already working with Russian Railways on organizing the movement of passenger trains. They will improve the quality of passenger service, relieve congestion on roads, and reduce traffic jams in the Makhachkala-Caspian agglomeration,”
