The Turkish Embassy in Russia has confirmed the murder of a Turkish citizen in Orenburg. Searches for the missing engineer Altan Gunther have been underway since early September. He was last seen on August 22, when he travelled from Moscow to Orenburg, where meetings with his business partners were due to be held.
"Yes, indeed, a Turkish citizen was killed in Orenburg," RIA Novosti quoted a representative of the embassy.
The source specified that, according to his information, the police have caught the alleged killer.
