The European Union and Kazakhstan will start to apply the economic part of the Enhanced Partnership and Cooperation Agreement from May 1, 2016, the Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev said after talks with the European Commission Chairman Jean-Claude Juncker, TASS reports.
"We discussed the situation in Ukraine and sanctions against Russia, which have a great impact on the economy of Kazakhstan," Nazarbayev said.
