Tourism is one of the most promising areas for the development of Karachay-Cherkessia, Plenipotentiary Envoy of the President of the Russian Federation in North Caucasian Federal District, Oleg Belaventsev said during his visit to the republic.
"The peculiarity of the republic’s development is in the tourist attractiveness of Karachay-Cherkessia. Recently, the appropriate decisions were adopted at the federal level and at the level of the republic. The resorts develop, they are popular, the number of tourists increases significantly. The highlight of Karachay-Cherkessia is the tourism cluster,’’ Interfax-South quotes the envoy as saying.
