The Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, has accused Belgium today of being "a significant centre" for the Kurdish terrorist movement the PKK, The Brussels Times reported.
Erdogan says that it is possible that Belgium may also be at the centre of the Gülenist organisation, suspected by Ankara of having planned an attempted coup this summer.
Speaking with the press before leaving for Pakistan, the Turkish President also attacked Germany. He confirmed having sent Chancellor Angela Merkel thousands of files demonstrating that funds accrued in Germany were destined for the PKK.
