Representatives of the Turkish opposition have blamed the country's president Recep Tayyip Erdogan for holding early parliamentary elections.
For example, according to the chairman of the main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP), Kemal Kilicdaroglu, Erdogan threatened the head of the ruling party, Ahmet Davutoglu, that a coalition government would be political suicide for the prime minister.
In addition, Kilicdaroglu noted that the authorities acted contrary to the constitution and political traditions, because after a failed attempt, it was the Republican People's Party which was supposed to begin the procedure of the formation of the government. However, Erdogan decided to announce new early elections, RIA Novosti reported.
