Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, speaking at the opening of the 7th Global Forum of the UN Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC), said that the country's spending for refugees has reached $20 billion.
"Turkey's spending for refugees has reached nearly $15 to 20 billion" Erdogan said, adding that the country will continue opening its doors for those escaping from bombs.
Erdogan reiterated that Turkey will not close its doors to refugees who he have fled bombs, "because we cannot leave those people to their death".
