Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan plans to discuss the Russian-Turkish economic cooperation and crisis that engulfed bilateral relations after last year's downing of the Russian Su-24 jet, during the meeting with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin on August 9, Erdogan said Tuesday, Sputnik reports.
"On August 9, I'm to meet the Russian President in St. Petersburg, where I would like to discuss economic cooperation and the crisis that followed the Russian aircraft [downing], about which Turkey has shown sensitivity," Erdogan said at an economic forum in Ankara.
